- Known as Paul Stanton
to Portland old-timers, he now goes
by
his Hindu name of Jnana Sivananda
(Wisdom Godbliss), which
loosely translates to Seymour Lovejoy
-- hence the stage moniker.
- Also known as "Frogz,"
(long story, it's a word distortion...) he's one of
our resident songwriters, sings lead on about a third of the
songs, whips out the lead guitar licks on most of the arrangements, and
does a bit of producing when we record...
- He co-founded the original Seymour with J.D. back in 1969. They
were also in other Portland rock bands of the 60's, 70's and 80's, like
The Southmen,
Music
Box, Sunflower and Smoke.
